IS OSCAR THE ONLY RECOGNITION!

My mind always asked me why oscar is so hyped? and strange even i don't know the answer.I don't think that oscar is a prestigious award.If you had ever noticed that the films that are selected for oscars only show the rural part of india, weather it was "MOTHER INDIA","LAGAAN" or "PAHELI", they all show the rural part and not the developing india."SLUMDOG MELLANIORE" the much hyped movie directed by danyy boyel is expecting an oscar ,does that movie deserve an oscar?I say yes, because the movie is showing the rural india or we can say the slum india.A.R.Rehman is honounered with golden globe awards and is nominated for oscar,but did you think this is the best of rehman ,i think this is the worst of rehman.Rehman had composed good music for jhodha akbar,ran de basnti and many more, but that time rehman is not nominated in oscar because the were directed by indians and was produced by an indian.But in slumdog..the directer is from another country and also produced by them. That's why it got so much recognition and applaud.According to my opinion the "INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY" should boycott oscars and not to send them any movie clips.

well,both the films are released & i have seen the movies.frankly spesking rab ne....is better than the much so awaited ghajini.personally i like shahrukh more but dats not the reason why i like rab ne more.the reason is that it is a good romantic & a light hearted movie while on the other hand ghajni is a violent movie.aamir has done a fabulous job there is no doubt in that but i think king khan connectes to the public.well,i can say that at the end the box-office collection of rab is more than ghajini.
